That is super frustrating man. Nothing worse than losing a whole vial before you even start the assay.

I disagree that it ruins the compound completely though. As long as it stayed dry and sealed tight in the dark you can still reconstitute and run your tests.

That makes me feel a bit better at least. I will still run my tests carefully but maybe the batch is not totally lost.

Yeah exactly what nodeclub said. Lack of vacuum does not automatically mean degradation as long as no moisture got inside the glass.

Honestly I had the same issue with a different compound last month. Sometimes the pressure just equalizes during transit if the altitude changes too fast.

Right? And the vendor is being super difficult about replacing it since it technically arrived intact visually.
