My research subject seems to be getting a bit too chill on GHK Cu

So I started some observational research with GHK Cu on a couple of cell lines you know, looking at some basic wound healing markers. Everything was going as expected, nothing too wild. But then I noticed something peculiar. The cells, they just seem so relaxed. Like they are on a permanent spa day. I am not complaining, mind you. Less stress for me trying to get them to behave. But it is just an odd observation. Has anyone else noticed their research subjects, be they cell cultures or other models, exhibiting an unusual level of calm when exposed to GHK Cu? I am using a pretty standard concentration, nothing extreme. Just wondering if this is a known, albeit minor, side effect or if my cells are just naturally predisposed to being zen masters. Maybe I should try meditating with them.

Good point about the anti inflammatory aspect. I had not connected it directly to a 'calm' observation but it makes perfect sense. My cells might just be feeling less inflamed.

Are you measuring any specific markers for stress or inflammation in your cell lines? That might give you a more quantitative answer than just 'chill'.

That is an interesting observation. I have not specifically looked for 'calmness' in my cell cultures with GHK Cu, but I have noted improved viability under stress conditions. Perhaps that translates to a less agitated state?

Improved viability definitely makes sense. Less cellular stress equals less agitation. What kind of stress conditions were you observing?

I have seen similar anecdotal reports about GHK Cu having a 'calming' effect, even in animal models. It is usually attributed to its anti inflammatory properties. Less inflammation, less discomfort, more chill.

I was looking at some basic wound healing markers initially, but I think I will add some inflammatory cytokine assays now. Thanks for the suggestion!
