My frozen storage experiment actually worked out so well

Hey everyone I wanted to share a fun win from my lab notes this week. I was worried my reconstituted vials would degrade after moving them to a different freezer setup but everything stayed totally stable according to my latest testing rounds. I always get nervous tweaking my storage parameters because losing a batch is heartbreaking. Turns out keeping the temperature fluctuation minimal was the absolute key here. My subject data looks super clean and consistent with previous runs so I am stoked. Just wanted to drop a positive note since we usually only talk about screw ups here.

What kind of monitoring device are you using inside the unit?

Honestly I disagree that minor temp changes matter that much for short periods. Still glad your run worked out though.

Smart move on the remote probe opening the door always causes a nasty spike.

Just a standard digital data logger with a remote probe so I never have to open the door to check.

I need to upgrade my setup soon because my current fridge is ancient and cycles way too hard.

Definitely invest in a lab grade unit when you can afford it total game changer.
