I find that if I pretend I am a highly skilled surgeon, my hands become steadier. It is all about the mindset, even for research compounds.

Oh man, I totally get this. My pipette tips always seem to have a mind of their own too. Like they are actively trying to escape my grasp.

Pro tip: put on some calming music. Seriously, it helps. Or at least it makes my fumbling feel more like a graceful dance.

Are we sure the water is judging you? Or is it just the ghost of a past failed experiment haunting your lab bench?

My sterile water is usually just bored. It has seen it all. The occasional splash is just entertainment for it.

You are not alone. I once spent five minutes trying to open a vial that was already open. My brain just decided to take a vacation that day.

Glad to know I am not the only one with these moments of profound incompetence. Maybe my water is just reflecting my inner turmoil.

Honestly, just focus on the technique. Slow and steady wins the race. And double check your calculations.

This is why I pre measure everything. Removes some of the human error factor. Less judgment from the reagents then.

Perhaps your water is simply observing. It is a key component in your research, after all. Just doing its job.
