Has anyone logged daily locomotor activity variance during multi week research trials

That is super interesting to hear because day twenty is right where our charts start going wild too. Did you change any environmental lighting variables when that happened or was everything strictly constant?

Honestly I think most of those mid cycle spikes are just artifacts from handling frequency rather than actual compound effects. Our lab tried automated monitoring to eliminate researcher bias and the data flattened out completely.

We track locomotor output using standard grid flooring sensors and noticed a very similar pattern last month. Around day twenty the overall movement metrics spike by nearly fifteen percent before leveling back out.

We run continuous telemetry for temperature and movement simultaneously and the thermal logs match the locomotor bursts perfectly. It is definitely an internal metabolic shift rather than just random cage pacing.

If anyone wants to compare raw CSV files for baseline versus trial groups shoot me a message. We have about six months of continuous tracking data from three different research subjects sitting in our archives.

I have to disagree with the handling artifact idea because our subjects show the exact same behavioral shifts even on weeks with zero physical intervention. There is definitely a physiological shift happening around that timeframe.
