Anyone else struggle with precise microdosing for research compounds?

Honestly, it is just part of the process. You get better with practice. I used to struggle too but now it is almost second nature. Keep at it!

Have you tried using an insulin syringe with a fixed needle? Sometimes those can give you a bit more control for very small volumes compared to detachable needles.

I find that practicing with just sterile water helps a lot. Get a feel for the plunger and the resistance before you even touch your actual research compound.

That is a good idea. I have been using detachable ones. I will look into fixed needle options. Thanks for the tip!

While practice helps, sometimes the equipment itself is the problem. Maybe consider a different brand of syringe if you are consistently having issues. Some are just better made.

Oh absolutely. I have been there. Sometimes I feel like I am wasting more compound trying to get the right dose than what I actually use in the study.
