I added semax to the current laboratory lineup because I figured my subject needed a little extra mental sharpness for the maze trials. Big mistake. Yesterday the poor little guy spent twenty minutes staring at a single piece of standard chow trying to deduce the existential meaning of the pellet before eating it.
