My subject is a glass cannon and I am the terrible blacksmith
Posted by quietfox94 in Research Compounds Deep Dives
So I decided to run some cognitive enhancement protocols on my lab rat because why not add more variables to an already chaotic life. Naturally I botched the math on the first vial prep and practically flooded the workspace with expensive lyophilized dust while coughing like an idiot. My hands shake way too much for microgram scale work and honestly my subject deserves a better scientist.
The bright side is the little guy is now running the wheel like he is trying to escape the matrix or something. Meanwhile I am just sitting here drinking cold coffee wondering if I accidentally inhaled enough of the compound to make my own brain think faster or if I am just having a normal panic attack.

Actually I disagree about the accidental inhalation part since most of these need proper pathways to do anything significant.

Just buy bigger lab coats so you look like a real professional while dropping things.

You definitely absorbed some transdermally through pure panic sweat.

That wheel running phase usually ends when they figure out how to climb the cage top and judge you silently.

The visual of someone sneezing away half a month of research budget is too real man.

Half a month is generous. Try the whole budget because I knocked the second vial off the desk immediately after.

Let the guy have his placebo confidence boost okay.
