This is super helpful for anyone just starting out in the lab. I wish someone told me about the auto defrost freezer wall issue before I ruined my first vial of BPC.

Good looking out with the labeling advice too. Sharpies rub off glass way too fast so use lab tape instead.

Honestly I keep mine in a dedicated mini fridge just to keep things safe from food spills and random temperature spikes.

Lab tape is a lifesaver for real. Regular tape turns into a sticky mess in the cold fridge environment.

Thanks for adding that point about the auto defrost cycles because those temperature fluctuations really sneak up on you.

I actually disagree slightly on the freezer part for unmixed powder because some labs store them at negative twenty long term with zero issues if sealed right.

A dedicated mini fridge is a total game changer for lab organization. It removes all the guesswork.

Yeah negative twenty is fine for dry powder as long as there is zero moisture inside the container. Once mixed though you are totally right to keep it out of the freezer.
